More than 35 years of experience has provided Nickels with a broad range of expertise in golf course design, planning, landscape architecture, and construction in the United States and Asia. He holds a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Michigan and has a special interest in golden age golf course architecture and ecosystem restoration. Nickels kicked off his career with Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and in-house construction company, Greenscape Ltd., shaping his design-build ethos. His knowledge of all aspects of golf course development, resort and real estate development, construction, and the environment provides a comprehensive look at all opportunities from initial planning through construction.
